The Role

We’re looking for a contract-based email marketing writer to craft two emails per month:

• Newsletter emails with community-driven content that resonates with our audience of graduate students, researchers, and scientists.
  
• Product-focused emails highlighting our latest launches, bestsellers, or promotions while keeping our unique brand voice.
  

Responsibilities

• Write clear, engaging, and on-brand email copy twice per month.
  
• Tailor messaging to resonate with our audience of academic life scientists and graduate students.
  
• Collaborate with our team to brainstorm content ideas.
  
• Optimize subject lines and CTAs for engagement.
  

Qualifications

• Excellent English written communication skills.
  
• Experience writing copy (e.g. student-led magazine, email, newsletters, or social).
  
• Strong understanding of storytelling and brand voice.
  
• Background in science/academia is a bonus.
  

Contract Details

• Commitment: 2 emails per month (approx. 4 hours of work/month).
  
• Remote, flexible schedule.
  
• Compensation: Per-email rate based on experience.
